Educating Now (gr. 4-9) combines bite-sized professional learning and resources for teaching mathematics into one easy to use resource. It consists of short instructional videos, lesson plans, and student resources all designed to support students (and teachers) in developing conceptual understanding of mathematics. The lessons utilize manipulatives, visuals, and specific language so that students are actively learning and making meaning of mathematics. Available in French and English.

This is a locally developed resource in Victoria, BC, and aligns with the BC Curriculum. SD62 French Immersion Department and teachers have also partnered with Educating Now to locally develop French Immersion numeracy resources. More info. to come soon!
